Ye Ye Bears a Cub Again

        At 11:10 am of September 12, 2009, CCRCGPs 14th cub of this year is born at Bifengxia Base and giant panda Ye Ye becomes the center's 12th mother of this year.  She is also the mother bearing cubs for two years after the earthquake and makes the record that a young female panda delivering cubs for continuous four years.
        On June 28, 2008, pregnant Ye Ye was moved to Ya'an Bifengxia Base, hundreds of miles away from earthquake-stricken Wolong.  At Bifengxia Base, the employees of the center strengthened caretaking and love feeding to her.  With good care, she gave birth to a female cub at the night of September 14, 2008, 125 days after the earthquake.  It seems that Ye Ye becomes stronger after the earthquake and is a mother again this year.
        Ye Ye was born in 1999.  Her mother is 21# and father is Xin Xing.  Since 2006 it delivered cubs for the first time, she has littered in continuous four years and can be the youngest mother with high birth rate.  In 2005, she estrused for the first time but didn't get pregnant after natural mating.  In 2006, she mated naturally and gave birth to a pair of twins named Lang Lang and Cui Cui who are lucky enough to go to Beijing to cheer for Beijing Olympic Games in 2008.  In 2007, Ye Ye delivered twins again.  On May 28 of this year, she mated with Lu Lu naturally and became pregnant successfully.
        The new-born cubs has been made physical examination and examined to be a male with the weight of 161.5g.
