Carrefour Renews Its Private Adoption of "You You" and "Chuan Chuan"
On September 19, 2009, about 40 representatives of Carrefour (Chengdu) Ltd., take a special trip to China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda Ya'an Bifengxia Base to hold the "Renewal Ceremony" of the giant panda "You You" and "Chuan Chuan". Last September 20, the company adopted a pair of twin cubs born after the earthquake privately and named them "You You" and "Chuan Chuan" with the meaning of "God bless Sichuan". This year, it renewed its adoption, which shows its high social responsibility. On the ceremony, the Assistant Chief Engineer of CCRCGP and Deputy Secretary of Wolong Panda Club Mr. Huang Yan issues the adoption certificates and gifts to the company. He also makes a speech to thank their love and kindness.
